When the contact or non-contact probe touches and senses the surface of the workpiece, the measuring system will instantly record the precise position data of the grating rulers on the three coordinate axes, forming the spatial point coordinates (X, Y, Z). By moving the precision probe along the three mutually perpendicular coordinate axes of X, Y and Z, the spatial coordinate points on the surface of the workpiece are collected, and then the key parameters such as geometric dimensions and positional tolerances are calculated through a professional software system.
