When making measurements with a coordinate measuring machine (CMM), there are several important considerations to follow to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the measurements.

Start procedure

Precautions During Measurement

1. Before the tested part is placed on the workbench for testing, it should be cleaned and deburring first to prevent the coolant and processing residue remaining on the surface of the part after processing from affecting the measuring accuracy and the service life of the measuring machine.

2. The measured parts should be kept at a constant temperature in the room before measurement, if the temperature difference is too large, it will affect the measurement accuracy.

3. Large and heavy parts should be put lightly in the process of being placed on the workbench to avoid causing a violent collision, resulting in work

Bench or part damage.

4. After small and light parts are placed on the workbench, they should be tightened and then measured, otherwise the measurement accuracy will be affected.

5. In the working process, the probe needle must be far away from the parts when turning the Angle to avoid collision.

6. Only place the workpiece to be measured on the workbench, and pay attention to the probe system can not touch the workpiece when running on the repository.

End of measurement operation

1. Move the probe to the left front corner of the workbench, clean the workbench, check the guide rail, if there is a watermark, please check in time

2. Check the filter.

3. First close the software in the workstation computer, turn OFF the computer, switch the air supply switch to the OFF position, and turn off the general power supply.
