In the manufacturing industry, most products are manufactured in accordance with the CAD digital model on the CNC machine tool, it is compared with the original CAD digital model, to determine the error generated in the processing and manufacturing, it is necessary to use the coordinate measuring machine for measurement.
In the software system of CMM, the original CAD digital model can be displayed graphically, and then the measured point can be determined graphically according to the visual way, and the X,Y,Z coordinate values and normal vectors of the measured point can be obtained, and the automatic measurement program can be generated. CMM can accurately measure the workpiece according to the normal direction, obtain accurate coordinate measurement results, can also be compared with the original CAD digital model and display in a graphical way, generate coordinate detection report (including text report and icon report), the whole process is intuitive and fast, and the traditional detection method can not be completed.
4. With the increasing scale of production and the continuous improvement of processing accuracy, in addition to the need for high-precision CMM measuring room detection, in order to facilitate the direct detection of the workpiece, the measurement often needs to be carried out in the processing workshop, or the measuring machine is directly connected to the production line. With the increase of the number of inspection parts and the strengthening of scientific management, coordinate measuring machines of various precision are needed to meet the needs of production.
